What happened to our planning regime ?

Perhaps it was a constitutional amendment which made the dramatic changes. All plans were totally simulated in three dimensions and all residents notified within a 2km block and viewed over web 4.0

What happened to our skyline - did we go up or dig down ? or did we just ignore it and continue with the sprawl ?

How do we plan now for the future that 2050 has arrived.

What are our main work, rest and play locations in Dublin ?

How we managed to marry density needs with maintaining our heritage ?

1. End the adversarial system between Local Authorities and An Board Planala

2. Agree stategic planning policy for country, regions and local areas.

3. Cut costs and get planners out of the detail. They can see the wood from the trees.

4. Deal with major planning items at national level with all the key parties part of the process.

5. Ensure that sustainabilty and competitivness is maintained at a local level in commercial developments. We gotta manage the carbon footprint!

6. Simplify the process by applicants giving warranties rather than proving issues.
